Name: ホイホイテスト (Hoi Hoi Test)
Year: ~1965
Company: 日本遊園設備 (Japan amusement park equipment)
Year: ~1965
Company: 日本遊園設備 (Japan amusement park equipment)
This entry is currently covering both versions of Hoi Hoi Test that have the base. Originally released without a stand by 東京中機 (Tokyo Chuuki) at some point between 1960-1963, this updated version came after the company became 日本遊園設備 (Japan amusement park equipment) in 1964.
There is a version of this flyer with just the Tokyo address on it, implying that this version existed before the 1966 opening of the Osaka address. We have no evidence to say if this model came in 1964 or 1965 or 1966, so I will use ~1965 for now.

There is a later version of the flyer that does include the Osaka address. For further details about years and address, please see my research notes on 日本遊園設備.

thank you to the seller that photographs flyers with their tape roll and/or lighter. :) |
The earlier version of this machine appears in the 1966 Senyo Kogyo catalogue, but we do not know when that was printed, nor when the materials for it were collected.
Hoi Hoi Test appears in the 1969 machine directory with an updated backglass.

This version of the machine appeared at the A.T.E. show in 1966, where Taito was selling it internationally.
