 これには大型(間口一 五メートル、奥行二 九メートル、高さ一 八 ・ ・ ・ メートル)と小型(間口一 二メートル、奥行二 二メートル、高さ一 八 ・ ・ ・ メートル)の二種類があり、どちらも今までのこの型のゲーム機より、か なりコンパクト設計になっており、店のスペースにあわせて手軽に設置で きる。 

 一ゲーム百円で、投入するとスクリーンが明るくなり、立体対抗車映像 によって映し出された対抗車が走り出す。ハンドル、アクセル、ブレーキ、 シフトをうまく操作してレースを始める。対抗車やグリーン帯に衝突しな いようコントロールしなから、スピードを出していく。スピードが増すほ ど得点が上がり、三千点以上でリプレイできる。 

 スピードに伴い変化する排気音、本物同様のエンジン音とブレーキ音。 また衝突時の衝突効果が以前の「フォーミュラー X」よりも、より衝激的 で、最初に画面が赤くなり、次にひっくり返るというモノスゴサ。 

 ゲーム時間は八十五秒で、定価は今のところ未定。

Nakamura Seisakusho Co., Ltd. (Head office: 2-8-15, Tamagawa, Ota-ku,  Tokyo, 759-2311, President Masaya Nakamura) has announced the racing ☎ machine F-1, which is a must-see game that offers the thrilling experience of  racing at the speed of 300 km/h. 

There are two types: large (width 1.5 meters, depth 2.9 meters, height 1.8  meters) and small (width 1.2 meters, depth 2.2 meters, height 1.8 meters). Both are considerably more compact than previous game machines of this type, and can be  easily installed to suit the space available at the venue. 

When you insert 100 yen for 1 game the screen lights up and a rival car starts to  drive on the screen by means of a projected stereoscopic image. Start the race by  skillfully operating the steering wheel, accelerator, brakes, and shifter. The player  must increase speed while maintaining control to avoid colliding with opposing  vehicles or the green zone. The higher the speed, the higher the score, and you can  replay the game with more than 3,000 points. 

The exhaust sound changes with speed, and the engine and braking sounds are  just like the real thing. In addition, the collision effect at the moment of impact is  even more dramatic than in the previous Formula X, with the screen first turning  red, and then overturning in a frightful way. 

The game time is 85 seconds. The list price has not yet been determined.

 いまカーレースファンで最大の話題となっているのは、日本初の FI 世 界選手権がこの十月二十四日行なわれること。このほどその〝前哨戦 が〟 新宿で行なわれ好評を博した。 
立川君、無事故で優勝!! 

 これは、㈱中村製作所(本社=東京都大田区多摩川二の八の五、 七五 ☎ 九-二三一一、中村雅哉社長)発売の新製品『F-1』を使って、本物そっく りの F1 グランプリレースを楽しんでもらおうという趣向。また会場各所 に設置された実況用テレビなども、同社が後援 提供 ・ したもの。 

 カーレースファンの中から、主催の『ドライバー』誌が募集した参加選 手は、シニア、ジュニア、レディズのクラス別で各二十名。会場は、新宿 副都心のノッポビルのひとつである三井ビル前広場。秋晴れを思わせる八 月二十九日、大々的な、〝前哨戦 が開催され、八 〟 月最後の日曜日という こともあってヤングや家族連れで賑わった。 

 レースは十二時に開始。司会のケン田島の軽妙なさばきで、どんどん熱 戦が展開していったが、各クラスとも二回のレースの結果、順位が決定し ていき、シニア部で①立川さん、②河野さん、③脇田さん、ジュニア部で ①中島君、②内藤君、③天津君、レディズ部で①酒井さん、②本間さん、 ③久保さんが、それぞれ入賞した。 

総合優勝は、シニア部の立川泰生君(十八才)で、六千七百八十八点の 高得点。しかも一、二回とも無事故という圧倒的な強さを発揮した。 

 さて、本物のトップレーサー、生沢、長谷見、高原など有名選手が登場 して、立川君と決戦となったが、やはり立川君が無事故の圧勝。本物より 難しい、とはトップレーサーたちの弁。 

 中村社長より、立川君ら入賞者にトロフィー、賞品が授与され、今大会 の幕を閉じたが、同社長は「明るい太陽の下で、若い人たちが楽しむこう いう機会を、今後も企画していきたい」と力強く語っている。

F-1 World Championship Preliminaries with Top Racers 

F-1 (NAMCO Simulator) Tournament Held 

One of the hottest topics among car racing fans today is that Japan's first F1  World Championship will be held on October 24th. The “preliminaries” of the  championship were recently held in Shinjuku and were well received. 

Tachikawa-kun won the championship without any accidents !! 

The idea of the event was to let visitors enjoy a realistic F1 Grand Prix race  using the new F-1 product released by Nakamura Seisakusho Co., Ltd.  (Headquarters = 2-8-5, Tamagawa, Ota-ku, Tokyo, 759-2311, President Masaya ☎ Nakamura). The company also sponsored the event and provided the live-action  TVs and other equipment set up throughout the venue. 

Driver magazine, the organizer of the event, recruited participants from among  car racing fans with 20 each in the Senior, Junior, and Ladies' classes. The venue was the plaza in front of the Mitsui Building, one of the tallest buildings in the  Shinjuku city subcenter. On August 29th, a beautiful autumn day, a large scale  “preliminaries” were held, and since it was the last Sunday in August, the event  was crowded with young people and families. 

The races started at noon, and the heated battle unfolded rapidly with the witty  judgement of MC Ken Tajima. The rankings were determined by two races in each class, and the prize winners were:  
Senior Division; Tachikawa-san, Kono-san, Wakita-san ① ② ③ Junior Division; Nakajima-kun, Naito-kun, Tianjin-kun ① ② ③ Ladies' Division; Sakai-san, Homma-san, and Kubo-san ① ② ③ 
The overall winner was Yasuo Tachikawa (18 years old) from the senior  division, with a high score of 6,788 points. Moreover, he demonstrated  overwhelming strength, having won both the first and second rounds without an  accident. 

Well, the real top racers, famous drivers such as Ikusawa, Hasemi, and Takahara appeared on stage and had a decisive battle with Tachikawa-kun, but in the end,  Tachikawa-kun won hands down without an accident. The top racers say it's harder than the real thing. 

President Nakamura presented trophies and prizes to Tachikawa-kun and the  other winners, bringing the competition to a close. President Nakamura stated  emphatically, “We would like to continue to plan opportunities like this for young  people to enjoy themselves under the bright sun.”

According to the company president's announcement to this newspaper on  December 1st, a license agreement was concluded with Atari, Inc. of the U.S.  (Headquarters California, President: Bushnell) for F-1, which enjoyed  overwhelming popularity at the AM Show in Japan and the MOA and IAAPA  shows in the U.S., respectively. The company would export six hundred units in  semi-finished form, while Atari would also pay royalties to produce six hundred  units. Exports to Europe and the United States will be made through Atari, and the  company expects to ship approximately 1,000 units in Japan, 1,800 units in North  America and Europe, and 200 units in Australia and other regions by the middle of next year, for a total of 3,000 units. 

In fact, as reported in the previous issue of this paper, the new F-1 has been  overwhelmingly popular, and Atari, one of the most prominent companies in the  U.S., made an early request for a tie-up, resulting in the establishment of the  NAMCO ATARI booth, which was “the most popular (according to the Replay  Bulletin)” throughout the MOA show. 

At an Atari reception held during the MOA Show, Mr. Nakamura, preceded by a Warner executive, addressed approximately 400 operators and distributors, saying, “Please take good care of my precious daughter, F-1,” which received a rousing  welcome. It was an unprecedented step forward for the Japanese industry.

 ㈱中村製作所(本社=東京都大田区多摩川二の八の五、 七五九 ☎ -二三一 一、略称 NAMCO、中村雅哉社長)ではこのほど、いわゆるコピー問題に 対処する姿勢を打ち出した。 

〝業界正常化への一歩〟 
 中村社長が語ったところによると、同社の人気機種「F1」に対してこれ を模倣した、いわゆるコピー商品の出現がとかくうわさになっており、同 社の姿勢としてこれに対処することになった。 

 同社「F1」は「レーサー」、「フォーミュラー X」、「同 FX」の流れ の上に立った自信作で、同社の「愛情なしにゲームマシンは作れない」と いう考えを如実に現わしているといわれるほど。それだけに、コピー商品 出現によって起りかねないディーラー、オペレーターとのトラブルなど、 同社としては放置できないことであると今回の措置にふみきったもの。
具体的には同社の姿勢を明らかにして、社告などにおいて警告を発し、 法的手段を含む方法でコピー商品に対処する、とのことである。 

《解説》 この業界においてコピー問題は、ゲームマシン、アミューズ メントマシン、乗物機を問わず、しかも絶えずくりかえされ問題にされて きたことであるが、結局のところウヤムヤのまま放置されるという例が多 い、と言われてきている。 

 ところで意匠権、実用新案権、商標権、特許権などの工業所有権は当然 にも法で認められた権利であり、法的手続きを経て権利を確立することに なっている。こうした工業所有権者に対立する形でコピー商品が現われる わけだが、それは権利の侵害として法により制裁が加えられうることに 
なっている。 

 なお、どの範囲の工業所有権なのかとかの具体的な争点については、公 開されるそれぞれの「公報」に従っており、さらに疑義ある場合にも裁判 所が判断して白黒をつけることになっている。 

 ただこれらは今までのところ、この業界で公開された争い、とはなかな かなり難いと言われる。そういう意味で、今回の問題のなりゆきが注目さ れるところである。 
 また同社長は従来から AM ショーの運営の中でも、コピー問題について 訴えてきており、しかも全日本遊園協会(JAA)副会長という立場から、 JAA との関係でも新たな発展がありうる、と予想されている。

“A step toward the normalization of the industry” 
According to President Nakamura, there have been rumors about the appearance of so-called copy products imitating the company's popular F1 model, and the  company has decided to take action. 
The company's F1 is a work of art that the creator has confidence in that builds  on the success of Racer, Formula X, and Formula FX, and is said to truly express  the company's belief that you can't make a game machine without love. Therefore,  the company decided to take this measure because it could not afford to neglect  the problems with dealers and operators that could occur as a result of the  appearance of counterfeit products. 

Specifically, the company will make its position clear, issue warnings in  company announcements, etc., and take other measures, including legal action, to  deal with the problem of copied products. 

《Explanation》 In this industry, the problem of copying has been raised  repeatedly, regardless of whether it is a game machine, an amusement machine, or  a ride, but in the end, there are many cases where the copying problem is left  unresolved. 

Incidentally, industrial property rights such as design rights, utility model rights, trademark rights, and patent rights are, of course, rights recognized by law and are  established through legal procedures. When a copied product appears in opposition to such industrial property rights, it is considered an infringement of those rights and can be sanctioned by law.

In addition, regarding the specific issues such as the scope of industrial property rights, it is in accordance with each published "public bulletin," and even if there  is any doubt, the court will make a judgment to determine whether the matter is  black or white. 

However, it is said that so far, it has been difficult to make this an open dispute  in the industry. In this sense, it will be interesting to see how this issue plays out. 

In addition, as a traditional member of the AM Show management, the  company's president has long complained about the copy issue, and from his  position as vice president of the Japan Amusement Park Association (JAA), new  developments in the relationship with the JAA are anticipated.

Fly Flap is a game where the "flies" on the playfield light up and move around.  There is a buzzing sound, until a fly "lands" and stops on one spot. The player must then use a fly swatter (not pictured) to swat the fly to kill it.

ユーモラスなゲーム機モグラ退治が人気を呼んでいる折、吉山商事製造、こまや製作所販売による共同開発で、ハエツダキゲーム機「フライフラップ」が登場した。

同機はICを使わないオールメカ製。版面上の16匹のハエを結ぶゴースをライトが点灯し、16匹のハエのどれかに止まる。その瞬間、お客の待ったハエタタキがビシャリと来る。ハエが飛びたつ前にうまく命中すれば、金属性のハエの日承とハエタタキの金網とが接触し、ドーン”という命中芹がでる。ハエが回停止するうち、18回命中すればリプレイできる。

㈱マル三商会の神戸・三の宮センターブラザのロケーションテストでは、ワンプレ30円で、日曜日約四千円、平日で二~三千円と上々の成績とか。

開発に当り、上下左右ランダムにハエ点灯させず、点線状に移動させたのは、ブレーヤーがハエタタキを振り回す危険をきけたのと、プーンというハエが飛ぶ効果音を生かすためとのこと。命中所の“ドン”も不快感を与えない様にとの配慮。

This is a 4-player crane machine where you scoop live goldfish.  This machine was exhibited in the "New Machine Guide" of Arcadia 0005 magazine, published 2000-10.

This game is notable because it seems the USA company Stern Pinball tried to sell it in 2004.

I have not seen any of these in real life, but it is interesting that Stern would have attempted to sell these.  2004 was a severe low-point in the pinball industry, with Stern being the only company left.

[admin] retiring the larger HTML pages

This site will now only be browsed using the eremeka search tool.  The large pages for year ranges will be retired soon.

When this project began the pages were convenient outputs from my program to let me browse machines in chunks.  Those have since ballooned in size and are unwieldly to load.  I originally had the 1970s as a single decade, but now 1975-1979 alone has 722 entries!

All of the HTML files will soon just redirect to the main search tool.

For posterity, here was the page names and the number of machines in each:
