(Yoshiyama Shoji Manufacturing)

Name: Fly Flap -
Year: 1976
(Yoshiyama Shoji Manufacturing)

Fly Flap is a game where the "flies" on the playfield light up and move around.  There is a buzzing sound, until a fly "lands" and stops on one spot. The player must then use a fly swatter (not pictured) to swat the fly to kill it.

It is hard to read, but I believe the company that made it for Komaya is 吉山商事製造 (Yoshiyama Shoji Manufacturing) [thank you to user michelentongs]

Fly flap
At a time when the humorous mole extermination game machine was gaining popularity, the fly flap game machine ``Fly Flap'' was jointly developed by Yoshiyama Shoji Manufacturing and Komaya Seisakusho Sales.
This machine is an all-mechanical machine that does not use IC. A light lights up the gorse that connects the 16 flies on the board, and it lands on any of the 16 flies. At that moment, the flycatcher that the customer had been waiting for suddenly arrives. If you successfully hit the fly before it flies away, the metal fly's wire mesh will come into contact with the fly swatter's wire mesh, causing a hit. If you hit 18 times while the fly stops, you can replay the fly.
In the location test conducted by Marusan Shokai Co., Ltd. at Sannomiya Center Plaza in Kobe, one ticket costs 30 yen, and on Sundays it costs about 4,000 yen, and on weekdays it costs 2,000 to 3,000 yen, which is excellent.
During development, the reason why the flies were not lit up, down, left, right, and above at random, but moved in a dotted line, was to avoid the risk of Breyer swinging the fly swatter around, and to make use of the sound effect of the flies flying. Care was taken to ensure that the "don" at the hit point did not cause any discomfort.
The fly lighting stop time can be adjusted in 3 stages, so you can change the depressingness of the replay depending on the location. It can also encourage you to try again. The price of 30 yen can also be changed with the selector. Plans are being made to sell 100 units for this summer, and with the fly swatting having become scarce these days, the fly swatter evokes nostalgia and is expected to be popular.

Yoshiyama Shoji has a listing within the 1976 machine directory, saying they are a manufacturer of machines.  While the scan of Coin Journal is poor, we will assume that Yoshiyama Shoji built these machines.  Hopefully we can find a better copy of 1976-06 Coin Journal and verify that we have this correct.
